I-97N, exit 12 at New Cut Road and turn West. Proceed to the second
traffic light, turn right onto Stevenson Road. Go three blocks; the church
is on the left. If going South on I-97, take exit 12 and turn East on New
Cut Road. Turn right onto Stevenson Road. Go three blocks; the church is
on the left.

THE ABOVE PHOTO SHOWS THE CBRC FLYING FIELD. WE ENJOY AN 700 FOOT
LONG (200' WIDE) FIELD WITH A COVERED PAVILION AND FOUR FLYING
STATIONS.
From I-97 south, exit at
Rte. 3 and 32, proceeding South on Rt. 3. Turn left onto Millersville Rd.,
and continue to Generals Hwy. Turn Right onto Generals Hwy until you
intersect Sunrise Beach Rd. Turn Left on Sunrise Beach Rd to Evergreen Rd.
Turn Left onto Evergreen, and proceed approx 1/4 mile. The field is on the
left.

Here you can see our flying stations as we are
re-building them during our spring clean up day.
This is a nice view of our runway. Although it's 700
feet long, you can see the incentive to lift off as early as possible.

Area
From
the I-695 Beltway, Exit 4, take I-97 south.
Proceed south on I-97
for 8.3 miles, take exit 10A Benfield Blvd. toward Severna Park.
Go
east .1 mile to Veterans Hwy, bear right onto Veterans Hwy south
bound.
Go 1.6 miles to Rt.- 178, Generals Hwy, turn left onto Rt.-
178.
Go 1.5 miles to 2nd traffic light, Wawa on left, turn left
onto Sunrise Beach Rd.
Go .9 mile to Evergreen Rd, Church on left, turn
left onto Evergreen Rd.
Go .1 mile just past Indian Creek School, turn
left at CBRC sign, follow lane to parking area.

Directions to the CBRC flying field from the
Washington area:
Take MD Rte 50 east towards Annapolis. Pass the Beltway.
Take MD Rte 3 northward towards Baltimore, exiting MD Rte 50 on exit
13b. Go northward for 8.5 miles.
Go 8.5 miles on MD Rte 3 and then turn right at the traffic light
onto Millersville Rd.
Go 1.6 miles on Millersville; after about 1 mile it turns sharply
left. Continue to a traffic light at an intersection. There will be
two churches on opposite corners of the intersection.
Turn right onto MD Rte 178, "General's Highway".
Go 0.8 miles on General's H'way to a traffic light; there will be a
WAWA store on your left.
Turn left onto Sunset Beach Road. Go 0.9 miles.
Finally turn left onto Evergreen. There will be a Church complex on
your left. Go 0.3 miles on Evergreen and you will see a big CBRC
sign on the left side of the road. That's the field entrance. Turn
left onto a dirt road and you'll see the field and our parking area
just ahead.
